Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 29, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Binarka Tech uses them on its website, what types of cookies we employ, and how you can manage your preferences. This policy complements our Privacy Notice and complies with the provisions of the Mexican Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

  1. 1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device (computer, mobile phone, or tablet) when you visit them. Cookies allow the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as language, font size, and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don't have to reconfigure them each time you return to the site.

Cookies cannot harm your device, do not contain viruses or malware, and cannot access other information stored on your computer.

  2. 2. Types of cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies: essential for the website's operation. These include session cookies, language preferences (i18next), and theme preferences (light/dark mode). These cookies do not require your consent as the website could not function properly without them. Duration: session or up to 1 year for preferences.

Functionality cookies: store your preferences to personalize your experience, such as the selected language (Spanish or English) and visual theme (light, dark, or system). These cookies are stored in your browser's localStorage. Duration: persistent until you delete them.

Currently, Binarka Tech does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies on this website. Should we implement them in the future, we will update this policy and request your prior consent.

  3. 3. Legal basis for cookie use

Strictly necessary cookies: used based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the proper functioning of the website. They do not require prior consent.

Functionality cookies: used based on your implicit consent when configuring your language and theme preferences on the site. You may revoke this consent at any time by deleting cookies from your browser.

Under the LFPDPPP, when cookies collect information that can identify a person (such as IP addresses), said information will be treated as personal data and will be subject to our Privacy Notice.

  4. 4. Cookies and personal data

The strictly necessary and functionality cookies used on this website do not collect personal data that can directly identify a person. Language and theme preferences are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and are not transmitted to our servers.

If we implement cookies that collect personal data (such as analytics services) in the future, the processing of said data will be subject to the provisions of our Privacy Notice, including your ARCO rights.

  5. 5. How to manage or delete cookies

You can control and/or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Here's how to do it in the most common browsers:

Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data → you can block third-party cookies, block all cookies, or delete existing cookies. Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data to delete specific cookies. Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data → select and delete cookies. Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.

Please note that if you delete or block strictly necessary cookies, some website features may not function properly (such as remembering your language or theme preference).

  6. 6. Third-party cookies

Our contact form uses the Formspree service for message delivery. When you submit the form, Formspree may set its own cookies subject to its privacy policy. The website is hosted on Google's Firebase Hosting, which may use technical cookies for content distribution.

We have no control over cookies set by these third-party services. We recommend consulting the privacy policies of said services for more information.

  7. 7. International transfers

Technical data collected through operational cookies may be processed on servers located outside Mexico through Firebase Hosting (Google) services. Google complies with international security and data protection standards, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications.

  8. 8. Updates to this Policy

Binarka Tech reserves the right to modify this Cookie Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this same page with the date of last update. We recommend periodically reviewing this policy.

If we implement new types of cookies that require your consent, we will notify you through a visible banner on the website before they are activated.

Date of last update: March 29, 2026.
